HOT DOG CITY

Ask me anything   LIZ SUBURBIA

outofsteparts:

FOR SALE AT THE SPX OOSA BOOTH (W44-45)

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue from Liz Suburbia. We’ll have a new mini print from Liz, as well as copies of her debut zine Cyanide Milkshake #6. I’ll also bring what I have left of the shirt she designed for us last year.

If you can’t make the show this weekend, you’ll be able to buy the prints and shirts in the OOSA Store, and Czap Books will have the zines.

THAT’S RIGHT KIDS, you can get stuff by me at the Out of Step Arts booth (W44-W45) and the Czap Books table (W50) SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY at SPX 2014!!! (Saturday too!) Unfortunately I can’t make it in person this year, but I’ll be thinking of you all weekend, and how lucky you are to be seeing all my awesome friends and buying all their amazing new comics.

Possible future plans: with any luck I’ll make it to San Francisco for a day of selling comics out of my bookbag at APE, I’ll let you know, stay tuned.

Damn the man and kick-flip his head off! This drawing by Liz Suburbia is called Organized Sports. We made 50 screen-prints (18x24 inches) along with patches and stickers that you can [order here from Silver Sprocket]. You should also read Suburbia’s comics in our very own As You Were #1 and #3, and her Sacred Heart web-comic that Fantagraphics is publishing into a graphic novel next year. Sick!!!

You can buy the original art for this in the OOSA Store. You know you need more Liz Suburbia stuff in your life.

Hey kidz check it out!

Oh hello, hi all you new people. I know I don’t post on here super often these days but it’s because I’m busting my ass 24/7 on a nice big surprise for you. In the meantime, why don’t you head on over to the Out of Step Arts bodega and get the new shirt I made, shown above? Or maybe Silver Sprocket for the latest issue of AS YOU WERE, theeee premier punk comics anthology (in which yours truly has a little comic). XOXOXO

Favorite panel from my submission for As You Were #3.

I know I’ve been super quiet but I’m working harder on comics right now than I ever have in my life. You’re all awesome and all your art looks incredible. XOXOXO

ATTN AS YOU WERE FANS!
A lot of people were asking for a poster of Liz Suburbia’s gorgeous centerfold drawing from issue one. Well, just a heads up, you’ve been heard and your wish has been granted! Scoop one up here if you are so inclined!
(And, while you’re at it, go ahead and stockpile a few extra copies of As You Were numbers 1 and 2 to leave in every bathroom you can find!)

THAT’S RIGHT, get ‘em while they’re hot! This print and an As You Were or two make great gifts: to someone you love, someone who needs more exposure to coolness, or just to YOU, FROM you, for being such a good kid this year. XOXOXO

Here, have another Tank Girl as a reward for being such sweetheart cheerleaders. Don’t you think it’s high time Tank Girl had a lady-identified artist? Me too.
